Amazfit Band 7 Expected to Launch for Only $50

Amazfit, a Chinese watchmaker, is well known for its reasonably priced smartwatches and fitness bands, and it’s set to add another to its expanding line-up. The Amazfit Band 7 is on the way, and according to an exclusive leak from GSMArena, it might cost as little as $50.

Amazfit seems to be skipping Band 6 and moving straight to Band 7. The band’s design and some of its specifications are shown in the GSMArena leak.

The codenamed Bari version of the Amazfit Band 7 is eerily similar to Redmi’s Smart Band Pro. It boasts a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. The wearable will offer heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking around-the-clock. You will be able to receive notifications from your phone, set alarms, receive reminders, and more, just like with any other smart wearable.

More than 100 sports modes will be supported, and automatic workout detection will be included. It will only weigh 28 grammes and have a 5ATM splash resistance. The band supports phones running Android 5 or iOS 10 and higher, and it comes with 8MB RAM and 128MB of storage for memory. 18 days of moderate use and 9 days of intensive use are possible on the 230 mAh battery.

At launch, the Amazfit Band 7 is anticipated to cost just $50.
