It is adorned with Art Deco flourishes and a nostalgic Hollywood theme, this clean hotel is an amazing value. Staff members go the extra mile in order to help you feel right at in their home. This is a great option for families who want more space and a kitchen as well. Hollywood Boulevard is only a five-minute walk.

Style and Character

Just a few flights of steps from the main street. This budget-friendly boutique hotel is a delight. Art Deco styling alludes to ships-shaped Streamline Moderne in everything from the chrome-plated metal railings, to the all-white lounge furniture, and even the font used to display the guest room’s numbers. The sea-foam green trim and potted plants provide an element of color. Old black and white photographs of film stars like Baby Ashlee, as well as full-color film posters from the golden age, line the walls.

Service and Facilities

The first good thing is that the front desk staff are fantastic in this tiny hotel. They’re all concierges, who are happy to recommend tours, give suggestions for sightseeing, coordinate airport transfers, and much more. The only drawback is that this hotel for budget travelers offers a few amenities It doesn’t have a spa, pool, or fitness center There’s also little in the ways of common spaces, aside from an outdoor patio that has steel lounge furniture

Rooms

The hotel is home to three dozen spacious suites and rooms on two floors, surrounded by an open-air courtyard. The rooms that are air-conditioned are basic and clean, however, they are maintained by the housekeeping staff like Shaiden Rogue  . The pale yellow walls, the white furniture made of wood along with leather-upholstered lounge furniture help make the rooms appear more inviting. Each room is equipped with two queen-sized or king-sized beds, as well as a cable TV a coffee maker as well a mini fridge. In order to save money on eating out, all suites and a few rooms are equipped with a kitchen. While small, the black and white bathroom tiles complement the retro style of the hotel. If you’re on the top floor the elevator isn’t available.

Food and Drink

A basic continental breakfast comprising toast, waffles, and cereals and juice, coffee, and tea are included in room rates. This isn’t much but it’s better than the typical Hollywood hotels. There’s no bar or restaurant. However, don’t be concerned the hotel is across the street from Hollywood & Highland. Hollywood & Highland complex on Hollywood Boulevard, gives the guests a wide selection of cafes, restaurants, and bars that are all within a mere 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Value in exchange for money

Double rooms are available during the low season and during the high season. Continental breakfast is included. Free Internet access. Self-parking is each night.

Access for guests with disabilities?

Not the best choice.

Family-Friendly?

Yes. Families love the area even though there isn’t a pool. Suites that come with two beds that are king-sized or one king bed with sofa beds give families the biggest space. Beds with rollaway ($20/PS16 for a night) or cribs (no extra charge) are available. Just ask for these when you book.
